As of now, the app allows the users to delete messages that are up to 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 16 seconds old.
Now, the company has been found to perform testing with a time limit of 7 days and 8 minutes.
Before this, it was reported that WhatsApp would be removing a time limit for deleting messages, which has also changed according to the latest development.

The app is soon going to allow the users to adjust the playback speed of audio messages or voice notes.

As per the recent findings from WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo, the users will be able to increase the playback speed by two times on voice notes.
Still, the users will not be able to slow down the playback speed, and the same thing is there with voice notes as well.

WhatsApp is going to test features that will allow the users to hide their last seen, profile photo, and status from certain contacts.

The feature is going to be tested for both Android and ios versions.
Currently, the app provides three options to the user- to show their status, profile picture, and last seen to “everybody,” “nobody,” and “my contacts.”
The report has also said that WhatsApp will add a new feature, “my contacts…..except”, through which users can select who all to hide their last seen, status, and profile picture from.

The meta-owed app is going to bring an in-app photo editor that will start with WhatsApp web.

The company has made its official announcement earlier this month stating the same.
With the help of new features, the users will get the chance to add stickers and text or crop their photos from any WhatsApp screen.

After launching the new sticker-maker for Whatsapp web, the reports are coming out for the same.

As of now, the app is allowing users to send stickers by using pre-loaded or third-party sticker packs.
The recent report by 91Mobile is indicating that the company may allow ios and Android users to create their stickers soon.
